The sports extravaganza  helps demystify the analogies in disabilities that faces students with special needs by embracing the theme of this year's event "give me the opportunity". The sports event emphasizes elements of self-esteem and determination. Every child should live a fulfilling, complete and happy life full of success and productivity to the world despite their diversity of needs and to utilize their talents positively for the development of our society.

This year's sports extravaganza is a unique event since it incorporates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) an initiative of OERB through Oshwal aid and IED committee. The IED Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme aims at improving the quality and standards of education in identified public schools in Nairobi.

Sports Extravaganza is purely to ensure equal participation of all students with special needs "giving them the opportunity" to display their talents and abilities. It builds the student confidence, encourages healthy living among the participants as it empowers the community with proper understanding of diversity for inclusive and togetherness.
